Darla's floral journey began before she ever knew it, remembering fond moments of helping her Grandfather in his rose garden as a young girl. 

She also remembers being so impressed with her Dad when he would arrive home each Friday evening with a fresh bouquet of flowers for her mom. Seeing the joy they brought her made a lasting impression.

 

Darla found herself working at a large local flower shop throughout her High School years in Southern California and quickly realized she thrived in this environment! As a young adult moving on from Anaheim, California, Darla continued expanding her design skills and learning many aspects of the floral industry. She put down roots in Texas, and began working from home while raising her young family. 

 

Darla's beautiful one-of-a-kind arrangements and personal service gained the attention of many which grew her floral business significantly. It was not long before she was designing unique florals for weddings and events of all sizes!

 

In 2009 she happened upon a vacant flower shop near downtown Grapevine, just aching for new life. With a leap of faith, Darla decided it was time to fullfill her dream of having a storefront presence. The rest, as they say, is history! Darla has come a long way from her humble beginnings, and feels incredibly grateful to still do what she loves and serve the Grapevine, Soutlake and surrounding communities. 

 

When Darla is not at the shop, she can be found playing with her grandchildren, digging around in her greenhouse, and making meatballs & apple pie, just as her mama taught her!
